I've had similar issues with throwing money and time at the bus to keep it alive for children too, I had a

Let me start by clarifying that i'm far too macho to call our van a name, oh yes, however, my wife on the other hand (honest), decided to name our van 'Leu Leu' (pronounced loo loo). This has nothing to do with our toilet habits or the name Louise, it was simply because the letters LEU appeared in the registration plate!! Now, if we're popping out to the shops or on the school run, I feel like we're taking the dog when she says, 'shall we take Leu Leu', the neighbours no doubt think we're mad....and i'd probably agree, but that's how we (I mean she) named our van!!

Good morning from www.thevwcalifornia.com, we’re new to this blog (or any blog for that matter). We are owners of a new Vw California, that became so enthusiastic over it that we set up a web site dedicated purely to the Vw California. Check it out at www.thevwcalifornia.com. It is still very much under construction, and as such, fellow bloggers or anyone else that is interested can offer suggestions or advice which may help shape the future layout of the site. I’m hoping it will act as an information resource for owners, dreamers, enthusiasts and potential owners of the Vw California. When I was buying mine, I found very little information available (apart from Vw’s sales blah), where-as the old V-dubs have information and advice splattered all over the net, which is a good thing, but we hope to address the balance for California owners and potential owners. Feel free to ask questions or give advice and feedback. Vw campers, whatever model, offer a unique experience for owners from all walks of life. If we share our experiences and advice, i’m sure we can all benefit, so forget your package holidays and keep camping!!
